Over the course of november, I have come across spider man (2002) movie. I have watched it maybe everyday for the past two weeks, as it is my comfort movie. I find the familial dynamics in the movie to be quite insane. Starting with the Green Goblin and his son. It inspired me to write this. Here is a firsthand review from an adult seeing spider man for the first time (2024).

I have watched this movie everyday for the past two weeks. I saw the kiss scene, maybe my third watch. I was watching for so long, wondering where the kiss scene was. Once it came on screen, it made me question where my spider-man was.

kirsten dunst’s falling skills

I'm not sure if I want to hate on it, or wish to be her. She fell so gracefully, she also fell for like five minutes straight out of the sky. It made me disappointed in spider-man’s timing. What was he so busy doing?

green goblin blowing up his son + date

I already found it extremely traumatizing that the Green Goblin never recognized his own son when he was around terrorizing the town. It makes me wonder if he knew that was his son, and still continued to try to blow him up. I never saw his mother in the movie.
